THE ROY'S LEGACY
At Cannon Beach 25 years ago, Dick and Jeanne Roy had a compelling vision. They recognized that Northwest citizens can and must build a culture of sustainability. They made a remarkable commitment to work together as full-time, unpaid agents of change. Since then, they have founded and led nonprofits including Chess for Success, Northwest Earth Institute, Master Recycler Program, Oregon Natural Step Network, Center for Earth Leadership, and Portlanders for Outdoor School. Their work has touched the lives of thousands, shifting our culture toward sustainability.

As part of the event, we’re organizing a small raffle or silent auction with about a dozen higher-value items or experiences. An example is a weekend at the coast with lodging, a meal, and an activity. The procurement letter (for donors) and donation form (to return to us) are below. We hope to see you there!
